There are six major Holidays that affect when your trash/recycling will be collected. These Holidays are New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. If one of these major Holidays falls on a weekday prior to or on the regular trash/recycling collection day (Thursday), collection will be delayed by one day (Friday).
**Please note there will be no change for Independence Day, Christmas or New Year's 2022 as the Holidays occur on a weekend day.
The 2021 Holiday collection schedule follows:
- Memorial Day, May 31 - Collected on Friday, June 4
- Labor Day, September 6 - Collected on Friday, September 10
- Thanksgiving, November 25 - Collected on Friday, November 26
Residents are reminded that trash and recyclables should be placed at the curb in approved containers prior to 6 am on collection day, but not more than 24 hours prior to collection. Cans and containers must be removed by 10 pm the day of collection. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
