Electronic Recycling (E-Cycling)

As of January 24, 2013, desk or laptop computers, computer monitors, computer peripherals, televisions and any components of such devices may no longer be disposed of in Pennsylvania with municipal waste. All of these devices are now required to be properly recycled.

You can drop-off electronic items such as laptops, computers, cell phones, printers and non-Freon containing appliances at Guardian Storage located at 1390 Old Freeport Road from 9 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday and on Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm. Just drive to the gate, follow the instructions on the intercom to contact the office and let them know you are there to recycle electronics. They will instruct you as to where to go in the facility to drop-off your items. ***Please note: Guardian Storage will no longer accept televisions or monitors at their locations.

Waste Management will continue to collect these items through their "At Your Door" service.
