"Spread Cheer" Food Drive

SPREAD CHEER FOOD DRIVE

TO SUPPORT OUR LOCAL FOOD BANK

The Holidays are a great time for food and fun but some of our neighbors are in need of some Holiday Cheer.

The Township of O’Hara is sponsoring a "SPREAD CHEER" touchless food drive on December 11th from 11 AM – 2 PM in the municipal parking lot.  Our local food bank has requested nonperishable items that may be used as side dishes for the Holidays.  For example, canned vegetables, boxed stuffing, boxed potatoes, cranberry sauce or gravy.  Also requested are canned soups, canned ham and cereal.

Those wishing to donate should follow the directional signs, park and place their items in foyer of the Twp. building.  The doors will be propped open to eliminate a touch point.  Staff members will be in attendance to answer questions and/or provide touchless assistance.  Everyone is asked to wear face coverings and appropriately social distance.
